2026 WBU Intern of the Year
Kristina Weber received the 2026 Western Business Unit Intern of the Year Scholarship Award presented by Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. A native of Clovis, California, Weber is obtaining a degree in Agricultural Business from California State University in Fresno. She received a $1,000 award toward her education for her outstanding performance, enthusiasm and impact as an Helena intern.
Weber completed her internship at the Helena research and development location in Merced, California, during the summer of 2026. Her work required interacting with customers and prospects, and assisting with agronomic and precision activities. Her summer project focused on an Agronomy Challenge focusing on silage corn between four different Helena locations (Merced, Modesto, Kerman, Lemoore) with each branch developing an ideal treatment plan designed to achieve the highest possible yield.
The 2026 Helena Western Business Unit intern class was comprised of six students from universities in several western states. The scholarship award is designed to encourage creativity, innovation and hard work among the intern team and assist with college expenses. Helena’s Western Business Unit consists of Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and portions of North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
